B.Tech Software Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate degree course. This course is best suited for candidates who are interested in circuits, circuit design, and as the name suggests very large-scale integrated circuits. Project-based and case-study learning is an important aspect of this course.

This course aims at preparing students to develop knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology with a systems perspective in order to facilitate the use of computer-aided design tools for the analysis and design of special-purpose digital and analogue circuits and systems. The course will give students the capability to understand the requirements of EDA development, library design, analogue, and mixed-signal design, semiconductor chip design, design and verification of ICs, FPGA development, and SOC design.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to pursue a degree in B.Tech VLSI & Embedded Systems the candidates must complete 10+2, Minimum of 50% in PCM (Physics/Chemistry, and Mathematics) in Class XII.

Almost all the top engineering institutes in the country admit students on the basis of entrance examinations like JEE Main and JEE Advanced. For admission through JEE Mains, the candidates must score above 75% aggregate marks at the class 12 board exam. The performance of the candidates in the entrance test will be considered for admission.
